Advantage Prep was founded by three expatriate teachers in Hong Kong, because so many of their students were frequently asking for a recommended qualified tutor, and finding the available pool of help dismal. Hailing from Canada and the US, and working at international schools, the trio decided to transform their experience and passion for teaching into a small business.
From an on-site school in Central to Kowloon, Advantage Prep grew only through word-of-mouth, and during Covid, moved completely online, to service students who reside in Hong Kong, and to those who study overseas and continue to require a tutor.
We specialise in helping students of all ages, but especially those who are struggling to adapt to the rigours of Band 1 Hong Kong schools, and international curriculums like IB and GCSE. Everyone is entitled to the opportunity for a quality education.
